Vitamin B-12, along with the other B vitamins, is an important vitamin to combat the negative effects of aging in the body. This vitamin is water-soluble, and it is necessary for the formation of healthy red blood cells and the functioning of the nervous system and brain. Vitamin B-12 is the only B vitamin which gets stored up inside of the body for years.
